Biographical Sketch
Carol joined UCCS in December of 2015 in undergraduate Education, Academic Affairs after working at Colorado Springs School District 11. Carol was a student at UCCS in the 80’s while being employed at Hewlett Packard (HP). She loves seeing how the campus has grown and how it has become such a vibrant part of our city, Colorado Springs. She remembers when parking was only $25.00 semester and you might have had to park in the dirt lot if all the other spaces were spoken for.
In the past, Carol has held the position of HP social committee, assistant girl scout leader, Owner of Bear Mountain Labradors, volunteer at the food pantry and volunteer at her church, and also assisted with the UCCS Service Project, to name just a few. Her favorite part of her job is being able to interact with the students and make a difference in their education. Carol likes to always remember that “the students at UCCS are the future of our country”. Carol enjoys serving UCCS by being a part of the Staff Association to provide a fun and engaging staff experience and to promote a UCCS team environment.
